Glenwild is a private, gated golf community situated within the Silver Creek area. It features luxurious homes with tremendous views of all three local ski areas. It is perhaps best-known for having one of the premier golf courses and clubhouses in the Park City area. It is one of the most strategically located upscale developments in the area: just minutes from Kimball Junction commercial and shopping area with direct access to I-80 makes it a mere 30-minute drive from Salt Lake International Airport.
Glenwild is one of the more intimate and established communities in Park City. It is exclusively single-family homes, no condos are allowed in the development. Quiet, upscale, private, and secure, it’s the perfect refuge for those wanting a life of understated luxury. Celebrities and athletes like Michael Jordan are known to have homes there.
For 2015, the total number of homes sold spiked a whopping 77%, making Glenwild one of the most in-demand areas in Park City. For that reason, available inventory for sale declined by 56%. home prices in Glenwild average $1.5 million, up 3% from 2014. The most expensive home sale in 2015 was for $3.45 million.
If you’d like to build your own house, vacant land is still available. For 2015, the average lot sold for $423,000. Once again, Glenwild was in demand as lot sales increased by 23% from 2014.
For a certain type of buyer, Glenwild is the place to be. With sales skyrocketing and limited inventory, now is the time to buy.
