Brighton Ski Resort

Since 1936, Brighton Ski Resort is one of the oldest skiing/boarding resorts in the country. Brighton offers an acclaimed ski and snowboard school, night skiing, and a host of other activities. In addition, there are excellent options for lodging and dining. With a wide range of terrain, Brighton is a winter haven of fun. Historically, Brighton has been home to more snowboarders than skiers, making this resort a fun meetup spot for fellow boarders. Skiers and boarders virtually have unlimited access to some of the best backcountry in Utah. Affordable lodging is available at the Brighton Lodge, and ski and snowboard rentals are located conveniently at the Brighton Center. A reasonably priced cafeteria style dining is available at The Alpine Rose. Molly Green's, a private club for members, offers delicious table service lunches, dinners, and lively après activity. Brighton is located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, only 35 minutes southeast of downtown Salt Lake City (35 miles from Salt Lake International Airport).
